Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Department & Team: Conversational AI, Voice

About the Role:
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the development of components and services used to deliver mission critical cloud products. You will work in a cloud-based environment where reputed company change, innovation and experimentation are reputed company encouraged. You will work with technologies like Java, Typescript, reputed company Web Services, reputed company and Jenkins, among others. You will iteratively deliver software in a true DevOps model following CI/CD and agile best practices.
Additionally, you will demonstrate mastery in one or more of these technologies and will be an expert in distributed systems. You will be a leader, mentor and role model for their peers and juniors.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and reputed company high quality, efficient, testable software to implement key product features.
Ownership of features beginning to end, design to acceptance testing and deployment.
Contribute to the evolution of the architecture of the system and the wider product ecosystem.
Actively contribute input and direction to the Product roadmap.
Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices, improve readability and anticipate issues.
Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required.
Act as a mentor to other members of the team.
Enhance overall team velocity.
Apply processes appropriately for data reputed company, traceability and information sharing.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or reputed company work experience.
Excellent programming skills, particularly in Java.
5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
Working experience with REST API back-end services
Expert level understanding of object-oriented programming & design.
Proactive, self-driven, and possessing a growth reputed company.
Effective verbal and written communicator
Strong collaboration and listening skills
Demonstrated awareness of modern AI technologies and their implications (safety, privacy, reliability), with role-appropriate skills developed through internal training and applied practice
Desirable Skills:
Cloud Native application development, preferably AWS based.
Familiarity with Natural Language Understanding concepts & solutions.
Understanding of Microservices architecture principles and best practices.
Familiarity with Voice Bot Platforms.
Experience working with remote engineering teams
