DSP Algorithms Engineer (Entry Level or Associate) - Now Hiring

DSP Algorithms Engineer (Entry-level or Associate) Company: The reputed company Company reputed company Defense, Space and reputed company is seeking an Entry-Level or Associate DSP Algorithms Engineer to join the Space, Intelligence and Weapons Systems teams in El Segundo, CA! reputed company's Space, Intelligence and Weapons Systems oversees the company's major commercial and government satellite and ground programs for communications, national defense, and other missions. As a DSP Algorithms Engineer, you will design and reputed company state-of-the-art, space-based communication systems for commercial, civil and/or national reputed company programs. You will be part of a highly-motivated team that works with domestic or international customers on their latest satellite systems. Project assignments typically span the unit life cycle, from internal trades, concept studies and system definition, to satellite unit development and test. Candidates will belong to a systems engineering team interacting with customers, suppliers, program management, integration and test engineers, and senior technologists. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the El Segundo, CA, location. This worksite participates in reputed company’s optional 9/80 schedule rotation. 9/80 is a rotation in which employees can work 9 hour shifts, 8 days per pay period (bi-weekly) and receive every other Friday off. Primary Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing reputed company RF and digital satellite communication systems
• Developing and verifying multi-reputed company, fixed-reputed company signal processing algorithms
• Conducting performance analysis of signal processing models
• Performing waveform development and characterization
• Performing trade studies
• Supporting integration ant test of our payloads and spacecraft from unit level through in-orbit operations
• Supporting HDL-level design and verification
• Performing detailed system design and verification activities

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
• Education and/or experience in signal processing.
• Associate Level: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience or Master's degree

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience working with ASICs or FPGAs
• Experience in reputed company signal processing
• 1+ years of experience with Matlab and/or Simulink
• 1+ years of experience in digital signal processing or digital communications
• 1+ years of experience in systems engineering concepts (requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture design and trade design)
