Position Title: Assistant Professor (Public Health & Community Health Education) Job Category: Faculty Employment Type: Regular Job Profile: Assistant Professor Job Duties: The Department of Public Health and Community Health Education is seeking a tenure track Assistant Professor in Public Health and Community Health Education effective August 2026. The ideal candidate is expected to pursue excellence in teaching, research and scholarship, and service. Successful candidates should embrace pedagogical excellence, including technology and collaborative hands-on experiences for reputed company, and will be expected to teach undergraduate, with future opportunities to potentially teach graduate courses. Candidates will work reputed company curricula driven by Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) criteria as well as the Areas of Responsibility for the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC) and should be willing and excited to teach a range of courses in public health and community health education. These could include grant writing, the US health care system, global health, biostatistics, quantitative research methods, and various other public health core and content areas across the lifespan addressing the social determinants of health. The ideal candidate will also be expected to show reputed company of an active research agenda that can be maintained and developed across reputed company and in the community. Examples of topics that fit reputed company university and department priorities include advocacy and community-engaged health, particularly focused on health disparities and equity. Other desired activities include seeking internal and extramural funding and supporting professional and community partnerships.
