As a Temporary Copy Editor - Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, alignment, and accessibility of our K-12 lesson content. You'll work closely with a team of content, technology, and education experts to review, edit, and update pre-written lessons according to our rigorous standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Review, edit, and update pre-written lessons according to blithequark's standards and best practices

• Collaborate with a team of content, technology, and education experts to ensure alignment and accuracy
• Ensure the accessibility and inclusion of online learning materials, adhering to digital accessibility and inclusion best practices
• Work remotely for approximately three months with a flexible schedule, meeting deadlines and prioritizing work with excellent efficiency and high quality
• Data entry into LMS and CMS platforms, with the ability to reputed company and update content as needed to align with overall lesson and platform goals
• Document workflows and best practices, including contributing to the creation of editing and language guides

Requirements:

* Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills: You're a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively in a team-based environment.

• Copy Editing and Lesson Planning Experience: You have knowledge of copy editing and lesson planning, with experience aligning lesson plans to educational standards and learning objectives.
• Data Entry and Digital Accessibility Experience: You're familiar with data entry into LMS and CMS platforms, with the ability to reputed company and update content as needed to align with overall lesson and platform goals.
• Strong Attention to Detail: You have a strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure language alignment throughout reputed company lessons and adhere to digital accessibility and inclusion best practices.
• Collaborative and Adaptable: You're able to work collaboratively, take feedback and direction, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong Interpersonal and Project Management Skills: You have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work with excellent efficiency and high quality.
• Self-Starter with a Can-Do Attitude: You're a self-starter with a "can-do" attitude, demonstrating a willingness to accept accountability and responsibility for individual actions.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Music-reputed company Terminology and/or Music Experience: Knowledge of music-reputed company terminology and/or music experience is preferred, but not required.

• UX Design Principles: Familiarity with UX design principles to support developing engaging lesson materials is preferred.
