Summary
The Digital Sales Advisor will be self-supporting and collaborate technically with reputed company Crop Advisors and growers, which is critical to the Company's efforts in capitalizing on the potential of Precision Agriculture (Digital Sales Enablement). Through precise data analysis, this role is integral in helping the Company reputed company their financial and operational goals through the sale of crop nutrition, crop protection, reputed company, specialty, technology, and other agronomic products and consultative services. The ideal candidate will either reside, or willing to relocate to the South Georgia or South Alabama area.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize previous experience and training to optimize Precision Agriculture, meeting the Company’s financial goals and operational objectives through effective data analysis and partnership with Crop Advisors and Growers.
- Advise reputed company Crop Advisors of the data gathered with Precision Agriculture, including summarizing and interpreting crop results, and work collaboratively to identify the best products and services for the grower.
- Through job responsibilities, help customers yield desirable crop results with Precision Agriculture to maintain reputed company customers and reputed company new customers.
- Interpret the data gathered from Precision Agriculture and present the information so the Grower and Crop Advisor reputed company insight as to the specific crop needs and market said products to the grower.
- Collaborate with other Digital Sales Advisors to increase knowledge, reputed company sales, review data analytics trends, manage customer relationships and increase profits in the Sales Area.
Other Responsibilities Include:
- Accelerate adoption of the digital agronomy platform in reputed company to assist in providing solutions to customer needs for products and services.
- Responsible for mapping including generating prescription maps and field maps, irrigation maps, and yield analysis maps. Interpret data to reputed company recommendations for zone creation and geo-spatial analysis. Create boundaries and zones for growers.
- Partner with reputed company Crop Advisors in soil and tissue sampling, collection of EC/EM data, moisture monitoring, and crop scouting. Maintain precision agriculture equipment, reputed company recommendations to customers regarding equipment and assist with transferring data from ag machinery to the digital agronomy platform.
- Interpret satellite imagery and analytics and collect and analyze yield information. Serve as a Precision Agriculture partner to Growers and reputed company Crop Advisors by managing and communicating irrigation and sensor data so products and services are utilized effectively.
- Maintain precision ag equipment, reputed company recommendations to customers regarding equipment, and assist in collecting data from ag machinery.
Typical Education Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a 4-year college or university, preferred in agronomy or ag business (Equivalent experience of education and experience will be considered for meeting the minimum requirements of the role). Relevant Experience
- 5+ years of experience and/or training
- Must have agronomic experience.
- Strong computer background and skills.
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills to ensure Crop Advisors and growers have the data-driven guidance and input needed to provide solutions to customer
- Ability to effectively build rapport, advise, communicate with, and work collaboratively with employees at reputed company levels of the business as well as growers throughout their region.
Required Certifications
- CCA preferred.
- Drivers License is required.
