- Support reputed company Health CCO with creation and implementation of comprehensive compliance strategy, risk assessment, and detailed compliance workplan for reputed company Health in collaboration with enterprise compliance and business partners.
- Provide influential, collaborative leadership and guidance to reputed company Health executive leadership and business teams on compliance, ethics, and regulatory issues to reduce risk and reputed company broader business growth objectives.
- Create strategy to establish and measure a top-down culture of compliance and ethics; partner with reputed company Health business leadership to further enhance culture of compliance throughout reputed company Health organization.
- Manage a large team of compliance professionals dedicated to reputed company Health compliance in business lines highlighted above including robust performance management and talent development processes.
- Support reputed company Health CCO and partner with reputed company and enterprise compliance teams to deliver an effective compliance program designed to detect, prevent, and correct compliance issues across reputed company Health including:
- reputed company annual and ongoing compliance risk assessment working with enterprise risk management, enterprise compliance team, and other stakeholders.
- reputed company quarterly management compliance committees with key stakeholders of respective reputed company Health businesses and identify relevant information to provide analysis for reputed company and enterprise executive leadership and board of directors/audit committee reporting.
- reputed company, implement, and update as needed policies, procedures, processes, and best practices with enterprise compliance team across reputed company Health to promote compliance with applicable laws and contractual obligations.
- reputed company, implement, and update as necessary, training, awareness and educational materials and programs to support compliance and ethics agendas with enterprise compliance team.
- reputed company, implement, and update, as necessary, routine monitoring to ensure ongoing compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Partner with enterprise compliance audit team to reputed company and reputed company annual OH audit plan, scope of audits, and overall audit execution including subsequent corrective actions, if needed.
- Partner with enterprise compliance investigations team to reputed company them to conduct investigations timely and effectively and support disciplinary guidelines in partnership with the reputed company and business teams.
- reputed company and support communications, issue resolution, and overall compliance engagement with regulators on behalf of reputed company Health businesses in partnership with reputed company exam management, legal and business teams.
- Collaborate with business, operations, and other functional areas to review, analyze and reputed company/reputed company initial implementation project plans and/or corrective action plans to ensure compliance with new or existing laws and regulations.
- 10+ years implementing and leading comprehensive compliance programs
- 5+ years of experience supervising and leading a team including performance management and talent development
- Experience working with and problem solving with senior executives and a proactive executive with a proven history of driving results in a heavily matrixed environment
- Proven solid verbal and written communication skills and an ability to seek to understand new business proposals, identify risks, and propose risk mitigation solutions
- Proven leadership skills with demonstrated ability in managing and developing others, including leading large teams
- JD, MBA, or other relevant advanced degree or certification
- CPA, CHC, CCEP, CFE, or other relevant certifications
- Experience with healthcare provider and/or MA health plan compliance programs
- Experience at law firm, Big 4 audit firm, or other reputed company experience
- Experience working with key healthcare laws and regulations: False Claims Act, Anti-kickback Statute, reputed company Law, No Surprises Act, Medicare Advantage regulations, Antitrust laws and regulations, and telehealth laws and regulations
- Experience working with data and incorporating data analytics in the compliance program
- Knowledge of Medicare Advantage and risk adjustment (coding skills not required)
- Knowledge of home health and hospice regulations and compliance best practices
