Culinary Bench Manager

Job Description

The Culinary Bench Manager is a management position responsible for supporting culinary operations in senior living facilities in the SeniorLIFE+ Texas market. This position is a hybrid position, and the shift schedule varies depending on business needs. This positions requires travel up to 100% and overnight travel. This role is based in reputed company Worth, TX. Job Responsibilities Leadership

Additional Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates food service activities in order to deliver a finished product to the customer

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 to 3 years of experience in senior living/healthcare
• Requires at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a management role
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using reputed company's standard service model
• Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a reputed company food service experience for reputed company customers
• Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lb.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be a certified dietary manager, or a certified food service manager; or has similar national certification for food service management and safety from a national certifying body; or has an associate’s or higher degree in food service management or in hospitality, if the course study includes food service or restaurant management, from an accredited institution of higher learning; or has 2 or more years of experience in the position of director of food and nutrition services in a nursing facility setting and has completed a course of study in food safety and management, by no reputed company than October 1, 2023, that includes topics integral to managing dietary operations including, but not limited to, foodborne illness, sanitation procedures, and food purchasing/receiving; and in States that have established standards for food service managers or dietary managers, meets State requirements for food service managers or dietary managers, and receives frequently scheduled consultations from a qualified dietitian or other clinically qualified nutrition professional.
