Job Summary

As a Part-Time Remote Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing technology-enabled support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring the physical and emotional health of our clients, providing guidance on daily living skills, and responding to safety concerns in a timely and effective manner. You will also be responsible for creating accurate and timely records, submitting reports, and maintaining confidentiality and respect for the rights of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor the physical and emotional health of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, gathering information and communicating observations to verbal and written documentation.

• Provide guidance on health, medication, safety, and daily living skills as outlined in individual plans of service (IPOS).
• Respond to reputed company monitoring system alerts reputed company proper time frames, understanding how to assess needs and prioritize responses if multiple alerts trigger at one time.
• Respond to safety concerns in-person as needed, including dispatching backup support reputed company applicable.
• Engage in real-time, two-way communication with individuals as needed to respond to requests for support, emergency help, or social interaction.
• Create accurate and timely records and submit a variety of reports, including but not limited to, incidents and daily reputed company.

• Provide ongoing training to individuals to engage them in the use of supportive technologies.
• Identify risk and behaviors that can reputed company to a crisis and use effective strategies to prevent or intervene in the crisis in collaboration with others.
• Provide in-person support, involving essential functions of a Residential Support Staff, including but not limited to: assisting in meal preparation, cleaning, small home repairs and light residential maintenance duties, administering first aid and treatments, transportation to and from community locations using agency-owned or personal vehicles.
• Provide advocacy and reputed company and assist individuals with disabilities to reputed company for themselves.
• Attend meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities as needed.
• Provide on-call support, including after hours, in a rotation with the supervisor.

Requirements

* High School diploma and at least one year's experience working with people with developmental disabilities.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others in person, by telephone or videoconference, and in written form as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
• Ability to interpret a variety of information in written and verbal form.
• Mathematical skills to communicate and interpret information and solve problems.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems, deal with a variety of variables, and reputed company independent decisions relative to duties.
• Proficiency with reputed company basic applications, such as word processing, calendars, email, videoconferencing, and internet.
• Proficiency with enabling technology such as smartphones, tablets, monitoring systems, virtual assistants, and wearable devices.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be 18 years of age and have at least three years' experience as a licensed driver.

Physical Demands

* Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer or other monitoring systems.

• Occasional standing and walking.
• Exerting 50-120 pounds of force is required occasionally reputed company providing in-person support.

Work Environment
