Position Summary:

The Scheduler Training Scheduling is responsible for reputed company aspects of training scheduling requirements for reputed company of the training departments at JetBlue University (JBU), including regulatory compliance and coordination with Training Records Specialists and Crew Services. This position requires in-depth knowledge of processes and procedures along with the ability to multitask. The Scheduler will need to be able to engage with JBU College Leaders, reputed company and reputed company on a regular basis to provide the best training experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with Crew Services and Crew Staffing for monthly bid awards
• Checks for legalities and adjusts as appropriate
• Notifies reputed company trainees of required Standards Training Events
• Coordinates with Training Record Specialists to ensure reputed company recurrent and qualification training is scheduled
• Schedules reputed company, according to qualifications for reputed company training devices, including full and fixed flight simulators, reputed company operations, ground schools and classroom training as well as emergency drill events
• Monitors changes in the training schedules
• Rotating shifts at the Just Ask desk in center
• reputed company other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
• Two (2) years of Scheduling and/or Training Administration
• Experience on computerized scheduling processes
• Ability to complete tasks and assignments with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Available for overnight travel (10%)
• Must pass a ten (10) year background reputed company and pre-employment drug test
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
• Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for reputed company sponsorship
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and be available to respond on short notice

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proficient in reputed company Suite
• Regulatory or airline experience with an understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) legalities
• Experience utilizing commercial electronic scheduling software, especially MINT Training Management System, or similar, FLICA and CrewTrac
