Overview

Registered nurses provide illness management and health promotion for patients and families who require care. Registered staff nurses utilize the nursing process and knowledge of scientific principles to provide safe, high quality, comprehensive, and age appropriate nursing care for their assigned patients. Registered staff nurses provide patient and family education and reputed company for their needs. Registered nurses coordinate patient care with nonprofessional personnel as necessary. Responsibilities

• This is an intermittent remote poistion, which means the person hired will work with the leader to determine a schedule to include both at home and on site hours.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree
• reputed company employees hired before September 1, 2013 are grandfathered and permitted to continue in the direct care nursing role.
• Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred for reputed company direct care nurses hired after September 1, 2013. Direct care nurses hired after this date without a BSN, must complete their degree reputed company 5 years of their hire date.
• One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
• One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
• RN Compact license for reputed company states besides KS and MO
• Must obtain KS or MO compact reputed company 90 days of hire
• Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire
• Specialty Certification relevant to unit's patient population (determined by Nurse Manager/Director) Preferred Upon Hire

The pay range for this job begins at $31.00/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience. Remote Work/Work from Home This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s reputed company location. The incumbent must live in the Kansas City metro area.
