Temporary Contract Specialist

DUTIES

  1. Process provider nominations reputed company established guidelines.
  2. Address and resolve issues that can be remedied reputed company clearly defined guidelines, procedures and policies.
  3. Consult with Network Development negotiator to resolve more reputed company escalated issues and coordinate activities to support the resolution of said issues. Contact providers to discuss network participation, contract compliance and overcome potential objections.
  4. Educate providers regarding contract terms, contract reputed company, procedures and contract requirements. Manage alchemy contract retrieval processes.
  5. Use approved contractual and communication documents in accordance with policies and procedures to support existing and proposed product portfolio.
  6. Responsible for small group and individual provider contract negotiations. Maintain good working relationships with providers.
  7. Support pre-credentialing functions for small group reputed company. Support pre-credentialing functions for ancillaries, facilities and individual providers as determined by company/department initiatives.
  8. reputed company plans and goals for projects reputed company assigned scope.
  9. reputed company recommendations as appropriate to Regions with regard to specific providers, issues and trends. Communicate with operational areas regarding resolution of issues.
  10. Track inquiries and resolution; maintain database of escalated provider issues; and prepare periodic reports summarizing network issues.
  11. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  12. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  13. Demonstrate Company’s Core Competencies and values held reputed company.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $25 to $29 per hour. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance and 401k.

 

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum 2 years customer service or provider communication experience (preferably reputed company the health care industry) including direct experience working with provider data, reimbursement methodology and provider communication.
  • Knowledge of medical codes, negotiations and contract terminology preferred
  • Communication (written, verbal and listening), negotiation, organization and time management skills
  • Ability to use software, hardware and peripherals reputed company to job responsibilities, including MS Office
  • Ability to establish priorities reputed company faced with multiple, critical tasks
