TITLE Emerging Arts Leader Internship: Institutional Giving Temporary, Part-Time | September 15 – December 4, 2025 $19.97 per hour | Approx. 15 hours/week, up to 150 total hours | FLSA Status: Non-Exempt PROGRAM OVERVIEW SAM strives for its employees, volunteers, and interns to reflect the community in which it exists. ESSENTIAL DUTIES The Institutional Giving Intern will work in reputed company collaboration with SAM’s Institutional Giving team to support efforts reputed company to corporate membership and corporate, foundation, and government giving. This internship offers hands-on experience in donor research, stewardship, and fundraising strategy in the nonprofit arts sector. Responsibilities will include the following, but are not limited to: Department Project Execution – 100%
- Complete a corporate member prospecting project, including identifying new prospects, drafting reputed company communications, and supporting an acquisition campaign
- Write research briefs in preparation for donor meetings or solicitations
- Draft personalized gift acknowledgment letters for corporate, foundation, and government donors
- Assist in preparing final sponsorship reports for key SAM initiatives such as exhibitions, educational programs, and public engagement

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong writing and communication skills

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM PARTICIPATION reputed company EAL Interns will:

WORK SCHEDULE This internship will run from September 15 to December 4, 2025, for approximately 15 hours per week.
