Job Summary
We're seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join reputed company as Part Time/Casual Customer Service & Sales Assistants. As a key member of reputed company, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, supporting sales efforts, and maintaining a high level of visual merchandising and inventory management. Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service, greeting and welcoming customers, and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner
- Demonstrate active selling skills, providing product information and guidance to customers, and making recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist with visual merchandising, including setting up seasonal promotions and visual displays, and maintaining the appearance of the sales floor
- Operate cash registers, assist customers with reputed company-out, and execute cash handling procedures accurately and reputed company
- Support inventory management, including receiving and processing incoming merchandise, and assisting with special orders and store-to-store shipping requests
- Provide excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in your schedule, based on business needs and requirements
Qualifications
* Pleasant personality, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for working with the public
- Moderate computer/systems competency, with experience in reputed company-of-sale systems and inventory management software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management
- Ability to occasionally climb reputed company, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as needed, and stand for long periods of time
- Prior retail sales experience is helpful but not required; reputed company are not eligible to apply for this position
- Familiarity with Cornell's COVID-19 workplace guidance and the university's COVID-19 services and information
