Key Responsibilities

• Verification of Quick Turn PCBA Vendor Technical Capabilities
• reputed company and Maintain PCBA DFM Procedures and Checklists
• Development of reputed company Drawings for Product PCBAs
• Ensure Proper Management of PCBA Prototype, EVT, and DVT Assembly and Test at Manufacturing Subcontractor
• reputed company and Maintain PCBA Process Parameters and Procedures as Guidelines for reputed company Subcontractors
• Ensure Proper Use of Approved Materials for PCBA Prototype, EVT, and DVT Assembly and Test at Manufacturing Subcontractor
• reputed company and Maintain PCBA Assembly Workmanship Standards
• Support Component Engineering by Ensuring Component Specification Content meets PCBA DFM Requirements
• Support ECAD Librarians by Ensuring Development of ECAD Library Parts which meet PCBA DFM Requirements
• Ensure Proper Management of PCBA PVT Assembly and Test at Manufacturing Subcontractor

• Verification of Volume PCB Vendor Technical and Quality Capabilities
• Ensure Maintenance of Approved Manufacturing Processes at PCBA Manufacturing Subcontractor
• Ensure the reputed company Use of Approved Materials at PCBA Manufacturing subcontractor
• Ensure Maintenance of Specified Quality Levels at PCBA Manufacturing Subcontractor
• Support Ongoing reputed company Service/Quality Issues as Resource for PCBA Manufacturing Issues
• reputed company or manage the development of necessary tooling and/or automation equipment
• reputed company and Maintain Cable assembly processes using hot bar equipment

Minimum Qualifications

We're looking for an reputed company and highly skilled DFM PCBA Engineer to join reputed company. The ideal candidate will have:

• An Engineer or Technologist degree with a high level of creativity and curiosity about materials science and electronics packaging at reputed company levels.
• At least 3 years of research or process development experience in an applicable field.
• Familiarity with the properties and process used in microelectronics fabrication and PCBA assembly.
• Ability to work with a cross-functional team to define requirements and suitable metrics for the performance of new products and process.
• Demonstrated ability to self-manage and deliver results in a pure development role.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently, i.e. >25%.

Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for someone with a strong background in engineering disciplines (mechanical, industrial, chemical, electrical or materials science) and experience in high volume manufacturing. The ideal candidate will also have:

• A degree in engineering disciplines (mechanical, industrial, chemical, electrical or materials science) is required.
• Experience in developing and maintaining PCBA DFM procedures and checklists.
• Knowledge of microelectronics fabrication and PCBA assembly processes.
• Ability to reputed company and maintain cable assembly processes using hot bar equipment.
