# Creative Storytelling & Media Innovation Internship - Voice Up *A Global Creative Leadership Role for Purpose-Driven Storytellers Focused on Children, Families & Educational Communities* Academic Credit, Volunteer, or Potential for Stipend

## Position Overview Voice Up seeks passionate Creative Storytelling & Media Innovation Interns to craft transformative narratives that inspire and lift up the voices of children, families, and the dedicated adults who serve them. This 100% remote internship empowers creative storytellers to contribute to Make The Difference, our revolutionary quarterly global publication, while developing innovative multimedia content that celebrates children's perspectives, strengthens family connections, and honors educators, caregivers, and community leaders.

## Ideal Candidates We seek students pursuing Education, Child Development, Family Studies, Youth Ministry, Social Work, or Creative Arts Therapy who demonstrate:

## Key Responsibilities - Contribute child and family-centered content to our quarterly global publication - Create visual stories capturing meaningful moments between children, families, and supportive communities - Develop content for the annual Global Stories of Purpose Conference - Build relationships with families, educators, and child-serving organizations

## Content Focus Areas - Children's Voice Amplification - Authentic platforms showcasing children's perspectives and creativity - Family Strength Storytelling - Narratives celebrating diverse family structures and resilience - Educator Recognition - Content honoring teachers, counselors, and community leaders - Intergenerational Connection - Stories bridging gaps between children, parents, and extended family - Child-Centered Wellness - Age-appropriate emotional health content supporting children and caregivers

## Participation Options Option 1 - Standard Tracks: Academic Credit (15-20 hrs/week), Volunteer (10-15 hrs/week), or Stipend ($20-30/hour)

Option 2 - Investment Fellowship: $25-150/week investment converting to Voice Up equity based on participation (90-100% engagement = 100% equity conversion)

Our project is a first step in raising awareness about a national health epidemic. All proceeds are reinvested directly into proactive strategies for improving behavioral health among youth, teens, and young adults in collaboration with community partners.

We sponsor every day people of all ages struggling with behavioral health challenges that are committed to making a sincere change in their life towards their purpose. We match then with mentors for the long term.

Our youth, teens, and young adults are reporting the highest levels of loneliness on record according to the U.S. Surgeon General. Our work is going to help change that through simple actions that bring people together for the common good, focused on lifting people up, and creating stronger in person connections.
