IT Supervisor

Under general direction, leads team in areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning, and standard practices. Participates in budgeting, capital equipment processes and quality improvement activities for the division. Plans and schedules daily tasks for staff. • Supervises assigned staff, including conducting hiring, developing and delivering training, and drafting and administering performance review activities.
• Supports budget and procurement processes, leads vendor relationships, and conducts fiduciary activities as appropriate to ensure appropriate allocation and efficient use of funds.
• Facilitates and contributes to department-wide IT operational planning activities, collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of IT strategies and initiatives.
• Works with business partners to understand business needs and provides high quality services at optimal cost to customers.
• Provides input to business technology planning reputed company their functional area.
• Conducts research to identify and assess alternative technologies.
• Evaluates the existing staff and technical resources to determine their suitability. Proposes and explores alternative solutions to optimize operations.
• Leads the implementation of IT initiatives to support business strategy.
• Participates with end users and management in the identification and evaluation of information systems requirements and develops plans to insure the completion of these activities.
• Coordinates the acquisition of approved hardware and software including the planning for migration, installation, and training.
• Develops and implements technologies to improve the performance of a business process and increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contributes to the development of standards and recommends changes to systems/ applications.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Two (2) years of relevant information technology services technical experience, to include one or more technical processes reputed company the assigned area.
• Applicants for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background reputed company and maintain CJIS eligibility. • Unless otherwise stated, applicants are permitted to substitute two years of reputed company full-time experience for one year of higher education or one year of reputed company higher education for two years of experience in order to meet the minimum requirements of the job. One year of full-time experience is defined as 30 or more hours worked per week for 12 months. One year of higher education is defined as 30 credit hours completed at an accredited college or university.
