About the Role

We are seeking experienced medical transcriptionists to join our team of volunteer advisors. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise and experience with students who are interested in pursuing a career in medical transcription. Key Responsibilities

• Answer questions from students about your career as a medical transcriptionist

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience as a medical transcriptionist, with a strong understanding of the industry and its requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students and provide clear, concise advice
• Strong technical skills, with the ability to use online platforms and tools to communicate with students and access resources
• A commitment to giving back and making a positive impact on the lives of young people

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with students or young people, either in an educational or professional setting
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and its various sectors, including medical transcription
