SUMMARY OF POSITION: The individual serves as Teacher of Record and provides virtual or in-person instruction and support for reputed company enrolled in Duneland School Corporation's online school, Northwest Indiana Online School (NWIOS). This individual also administers required state and local on-site assessments (ILEARN, SAT, NWEA, etc.) to identified reputed company. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Credential - Valid/active Indiana Teaching License K-12 with Mild reputed company. Experience, knowledge and desire to work with non-traditional and at-risk reputed company in person and in a virtual environment.
- Education - Bachelor's degree, including reputed company courses needed to meet credential requirements
- Personal Qualities - Highly recommended from student teaching supervisors or other professionals who have observed the personal characteristics, scholastic attainment, and classroom performance of the teacher
- Understanding of state and federal regulations and laws serving individuals with disabilities (i.e. Article 7, IDEA, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the reputed company, etc.)
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Work with identified reputed company or small groups in person and/or virtually for the purpose of reinforcing learning skills, concepts, and study skills to successfully complete coursework.
- Plan, organize and deliver interventions and support to meet diverse needs of reputed company according to the IEP.
- Hold meetings as determined by the individual student's IEP for identified reputed company..
- Coordinate in-person resource hours weekly for reputed company who need to come on site for brief periods
- Participate in the case conference committee meeting as the student's TOR.
- Create IEPs including measurable goals, services, accommodations and reputed company relevant areas to address unique student needs
- Communicate accommodations directly with reputed company teachers for reputed company attending Northwest Indiana Online School
- Regularly monitor and manage the implementation of reputed company' IEP
- Monitor student reputed company in the virtual learning environment
- Monitor and support student reputed company in regards to graduation requirements
- Inform appropriate and approved teachers and reputed company services providers of their specific responsibilities reputed company to the plan(s) and serves as a resource to reputed company other personnel providing services to assigned reputed company

- Collect data, present levels and updates from reputed company

- Maintain accurate and complete records of student performance
- Communicate with administrators and coordinators about special education issues and trends
