About the Role
As a Live Chat Specialist at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers visiting our clients' websites. You'll be responsible for providing quick and accurate assistance, answering questions, and resolving concerns in real-time. This is an entry-level position that reports to the Online Chat Manager, and we're looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow with our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
- Evaluate customer interactions and elevate issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary
- Build relationships with new customers to understand and achieve their needs
- Provide accurate, concise, and professional responses to customer inquiries, requests, and problems
- Promote interest in client products and services
- Consistently achieve established standards of the position and continually portray a positive and professional image
- Offer administrative support to the customer service team and assist with overflow work and other duties as needed
Essential Qualifications
To succeed as a Live Chat Specialist at blithequark, you'll need:
- A strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Excellent PC keyboarding and internet skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- An upbeat, positive attitude and professional demeanor, with a client-facing experience
- Basic technical skills, including the ability to navigate through smartphone and computer applications
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following skills and experience will be considered a plus:
- Ability to compose professional emails
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Familiarity with customer support software and tools

Compensation and Shifts
We're offering a competitive hourly rate of $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience. The available shifts are Monday to Friday, excluding Sundays and Saturdays. We're looking for someone who is available to work a consistent schedule and is committed to delivering exceptional customer support.
