Job Summary
As a Temporary Seasonal Juvenile Supervision Officer I/Youth Engagement Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing direct care supervision to youth in our facilities, utilizing trauma-informed practices to promote positive behavior and development. This is a temporary/seasonal position, restricted to a maximum of 130 calendar days per year, offering a unique opportunity to reputed company a meaningful impact in the lives of our youth. You will be responsible for maintaining a daily focus on our department's service philosophy, emphasizing Developmental Assets, Developmental Relationships, SPARK identification, Motivational Interviewing, and Trust-Based Relational reputed company (TBRI).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and redirect youth behavior using appropriate trauma-focused interventions reputed company necessary
- reputed company daily activities of residents, including education, physical education, group activities, hygiene, housekeeping chores, meals, visitations, and more
- Conduct and/or coordinate social casework activities, including intake, admission, and release of residents, and complete reputed company necessary paperwork

- Operate departmental and personal vehicles to transport residents as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment in designated facilities

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 21 years of age per Texas Administrative Code Section 344.200
- Not have a disqualifying criminal history as defined in Texas Administrative Code Chapter 344
- Valid driver's license (required reputed company thirty days of employment)
- Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD) Juvenile Supervision Officer certification (required reputed company six months of employment)
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification (required reputed company six months of employment)
- First aid certification (required reputed company six months of employment)

Preferred Qualifications
