Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Prior Authorizations Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for:

• Receiving and processing prior authorization requests reputed company fax or incoming calls, ensuring timely and accurate review and processing.
• Comparing prior authorization requests to a set of criteria on UHG's database to determine approval or rejection.
• Providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and providers, resolving issues and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Conducting clinical reviews for authorizations, adhering to legal and contractual requirements, including turnaround times (TATs) and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Documenting interactions with callers per contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Working in a fast-paced call center environment, meeting productivity and quality standards.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• An active Pharmacy Technician License in the reputed company.
