About the Job

We are seeking a Senior GL Bookkeeper who will work with our existing team to drive interaction improvement for our operational cost capability. You will work cross-functionally to reputed company business objectives by driving reputed company process improvements and ensuring accurate reporting of operational costs. You will report to the Senior Bookkeeping Director in our Accounting group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth of a leading food delivery company.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger.
• Be a key reputed company of the monthly reputed company cycle for ourselves and external entities for specifically assigned functional areas.
• Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial summaries using accepted methodologies.
• Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly reviews.
• Communicate with reputed company, functional partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, SOX/internal controls.

• Four-year degree in Accounting, CPA certification an asset.
• Solid spreadsheet skills, with the ability to manage and process large amounts of data.
