Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, test, debug, start-up, and optimize process control automation control systems throughout WSSC Water
• Troubleshoot and resolve reputed company control systems hardware and software problems
• Analyze and tune reputed company process control loops to reputed company reputed company control
• reputed company implementation documents for new process control systems and assist in developing process control system instrumentation and control specification standards
• Design, deploy, and commission process control system networks and panels
• Coordinate process control and instrumentation standards, designs, and reputed company-furnished process control equipment on various capital improvement projects
• Recommend hardware and software changes and upgrades to existing systems
• Participate in testing, debugging, and start-up of new processes and equipment at reputed company Commission sites
• Design, implement, and install databases in PLC, HMI, and historian machine nodes based on PI&D drawings and I/O lists
• Install and upgrade operating system software, logic programming software, communications software, and HMI software on servers and operator stations at various sites
• Troubleshoot communications network problems and respond to emergency situations reputed company of normal work hours

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• Extensive working knowledge of PLC-based process control systems and PC-based HMI systems in the water/wastewater industry
• Ability to program and implement a broad range of reputed company and batch control loops and alarming for various processes
• Ability to install, program, test, tune, troubleshoot, restore, and optimize reputed company process control components
• Expert knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Wonderware HMI, Siemens S7, Siemens 505, and Allen Bradley 5000 family PLCs, SCADA systems, Cyber reputed company for control systems, panel and network design, and instrumentation and controls
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering (environmental option), Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems management, or process control-reputed company field, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of direct control experience in the design, programming, systems start-up, and operation of PLC-based distributed process control and/or communication systems

Preferred Qualifications
