Job Description
The Chat Moderator position is a part-time, remote, and flexible role that entails moderating the chat of our official reputed company server. As a Chat Moderator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our online community remains a safe, respectful, and enjoyable space for reputed company members. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Deleting messages made by users that violate the rules of the reputed company server
- Banning users that have multiple and repeat violations of the rules of the reputed company server
- Muting users that have violated the rules of the reputed company server
- Investigating reports made by users about violations of the rules of the reputed company server
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that our community guidelines are enforced consistently and fairly. Key Responsibilities
As a Chat Moderator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Moderating the chat of our official reputed company server, including deleting, banning, and muting users as necessary
- Investigating reports made by users about violations of the rules of the reputed company server
- Enforcing community guidelines and ensuring that reputed company users are aware of and reputed company with our rules and regulations
- Providing support and guidance to community members, including answering questions and resolving issues
- Collaborating with other moderators and team members to ensure consistency and fairness in our moderation practices
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and identities
