Job Summary
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional phone support to patients receiving life-saving specialty medication treatment. Your primary focus will be on the general coordination and handling of new prescription requests and reorders, including verifying and renewing benefits, assisting patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system, collecting and processing copay payments, obtaining approvals, and collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with reputed company issues or clinical concerns.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional phone support to patients, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and compassionate manner
- Coordinate and handle new prescription requests and reorders, including verifying and renewing benefits
- Assist patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system
- Collect and process copay payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Obtain approvals from insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve and process orders with reputed company issues or clinical concerns
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions and order status
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Dynamic IL Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License
- One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of reputed company customer needs reputed company telephone
- One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, reputed company Office, web navigation, and email applications
- One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and fitness
Preferred Qualifications
