Job Summary
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you'll play a critical role in developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to maximize the value of our $1B+ annual Professional Services spend. You'll work closely with business stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for cost savings, improve quality, and mitigate risks. Your expertise in sourcing and procurement will help us navigate the complex landscape of professional services, ensuring that we get the best value for our investments.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to maximize the value of our Professional Services spend
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for cost savings, improve quality, and mitigate risks
- Managing RFPs, negotiations, and contract administration for Professional Services agreements
- Building and maintaining relationships with key executives, advisors, and other stakeholders
- Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform sourcing decisions
- Developing and executing performance control applications to ensure quality, responsiveness, and cost
- Ensuring compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices
- Communicating and documenting key relationships and decisions to stakeholders
- Participating in expert development activities to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
Key Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years in Professional Services sourcing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong negotiation and contract administration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, including RFPs, negotiations, and contract administration
- Familiarity with the entertainment industry and its trends and challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with companies that offer consulting and advisory services
- Professional Services Sourcing or Consulting/Advisory experience
- Strong understanding of contract law and negotiation techniques
