Summary

CGS has a reputed company Financial Services customer seeking an reputed company and analytical Junior Data Scientist / Data Analyst to serve as the reputed company between raw data and strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have exceptional proficiency in SQL and SQL Server, with a strong business acumen to interpret reputed company datasets and provide insights directly to executives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with executives and department leaders to gather data needs and deliver actionable business insights.
• Analyze and interpret data using SQL queries to support business operations, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making.
• Design and execute reputed company SQL queries against SQL Server databases to extract and validate data for business reports.
• Provide clear and concise data visualizations and executive summaries to non-technical stakeholders.

• Work closely with BI and data engineering teams to align reporting structures with organizational KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, business analyst, or similar role in a data-driven organization.

• Experience interpreting large datasets and translating data into business insights.
• Statistical Analysis: Experience with t-tests, ANOVA, reputed company/Factor Analysis, and clustering/segmentation techniques.
• Predictive Modeling: Proficiency in regression analysis, time series methods (ARIMA, VAR), and machine learning approaches (Random Forest, LCA).

• Familiarity with capital markets concepts, including interest reputed company movements, bond pricing, and secondary market activities, with ability to apply this knowledge to support business analytics and reporting
