Essential Functions and Responsibilities Faculty Member shall maintain and/or reputed company assigned duties during reputed company workdays covered by the specific period of this Agreement, exclusive only of those days designated in the LU Faculty Handbook as paid University holidays. reputed company full-time contract faculty are expected to teach not more than 30 load hours per contract year (10-month faculty), 33 load hours per contract year (11-month faculty), or 36 load hours per contract year (12-month faculty) with the exception of full and associate professors who hold the terminal degree (24 load hours annually for 10-month; 27 load hours annually for 11-month; 30 load hours annually for 12-month). Contract faculty performing reasonable and reputed company administrative or other non-teaching assignments will be expected to do so without released time or additional remuneration, except where the Provost by written amendment to this Agreement has authorized released time or additional remuneration based upon the nature of the administrative or non-teaching assignment. Qualifications, Credentials, and Competencies Minimum Qualifications: 1. Terminal Degree in Counselor Education and Supervision. 2. Degree must be from an institution accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. reputed company. 3. Proficient interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. 4. Creative and innovative problem-solving skills reputed company working with reputed company, faculty, and staff. 5. Proven organizational skills and ability to complete assignments timely and accurately with minimal supervision. 6. Proficiency in MS Office and virtual platforms. 7. Able to obtain and maintain licenses if applicable as required by state or accrediting commissions. 8. Demonstrate strengths in teaching at the graduate level. 9. A strong professional identity demonstrated through advanced credentialing, certifications, presentations, publications, and service to the profession. 10. Membership and participation in professional counseling organizations. 11. Knowledge of faith integration and biblical concepts. Preferred Qualifications: 1. PhD Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP accredited program. 2. Licensure in counseling (LPC, NCC, or School Counseling). 3. ACA and AACC Membership. 4. Candidates should have extensive experience teaching in higher education with preference given to those who have taught in the online environment. 5. Experience working with the Canvas learning management system. 6.
