Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a Project Associate in our reputed company Recovery Department, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• Project associate reputed company duties:

+ Retrieving patient medical records from various Hospital systems + Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits + Extracting and entering necessary information from/to Hospital patient accounting systems + Making phone calls to Post-Acute Healthcare Facilities to obtain information needed on patients + Running and creating reports + Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by the recovery team + Scanning and indexing of documents

• Data analysis and reporting:

+ Developing and maintaining databases and spreadsheets to track and analyze data + Creating reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders + Identifying trends and patterns in data to inform business decisions

• Collaboration and communication:

+ Working closely with registered nurses, coding professionals, and billing experts to ensure seamless data exchange and collaboration + Communicating effectively with Post-Acute Healthcare Facilities to obtain necessary information + Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• 1-2 years of experience in medical records management, data entry, or a reputed company field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze reputed company data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in reputed company Office, particularly reputed company, and experience with Hospital patient accounting systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a reputed company field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

• Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in reputed company recovery or medical records management
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems
