Library Specialist is responsible for the timely delivery of information services, including printed, non-printed, and electronic information from AAMC and non-AAMC sources as requested by leadership, staff, members/constituents, and academic medical education partners. Key responsibilities include searching of academic databases and popular press sources to answer reputed company questions reputed company to academic medicine; data management of information to classify and catalogue documents and other artifacts based on media type, records retention policies, and acceptable use. The position also contributes to the development of policies, procedures, systems, identification of additional data sources, and processes for AAMC reference materials and literature research/reviews. Provides information services to support AAMC initiatives and priorities: Provide support to the proposed Data, Analytics and Research, the COE, and Policy and Advocacy Hub and Spokes including: Assisting in the development and implementation of systems and monitoring of requests for bibliographic verification and literature, citation, and electronic searches reputed company to use of AAMC data, research, and resources Contribute to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of AAMC research in collaboration with DOS, IT, and Survey and Research Central in support of the Data Analytics and Research Hub and Spoke Model Maintain accurate data on service requests and requests from leadership for literature reviews, archival activities reputed company to collection of artifacts, and review of citations and references to AAMC data, research, and information in the public domain. Support AAMC Reference Center and Archives Operations: Provide input and guidance to the management of the software and reference materials budgeted in the Reference Center for staff professional development and operational needs, including tracking usage data and troubleshooting basic technical issues. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in humanities, library science, or business from an accredited college or university Preferred: Master's degree in library and information science or data science from an accredited college or university. 3-5 years of reputed company work experience Experience in an academic or special library responding to reference requests of varied complexity. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience: Experience with interlibrary loan, digital archive management systems, and records management Remote Work Eligibility This position is eligible for remote work in the contiguous US Compensation Grade Range $59,160.00-$69,600.00 Multiple factors are taken into consideration to reputed company at the final hourly reputed company/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors may include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations.
