Schedule and Work Environment

As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will work a regular schedule of Monday to Friday, with flexible hours between reputed company and 4:30pm CST. This role is designed to be fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home or office. With a 34-hour workweek, you will have ample time to balance your work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers
• Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and reputed company to meet client turnaround times
• Navigating reputed company and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry
• Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines
• Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling
• Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times
• Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements

Additional Responsibilities

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also be expected to:

• reputed company quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines
• Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed
• Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies
• Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 6 months of experience in data entry or a typing-focused role
• Strong data entry/typing skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• High degree of accuracy
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Assessment and Selection Process

If selected for further consideration, you will be required to complete an online reputed company data entry assessment. A minimum of 8,200 KSPH with a 98% accuracy reputed company is required for this position.
