About this team and role: Responsible for supporting the North America payroll operations, processing semi-monthly and bi-weekly payroll for around 800 U.S. and Canadian employees while ensuring compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations. This role will ensure accurate and timely payroll cycles, compliance with tax laws and company policies, and provide reporting and analysis to support business needs. The Payroll Administrator will also assist in process improvements and cross-functional initiatives. What you’ll do:

• Administer end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and Canadian employees (~800 employees), ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll on a semi-monthly basis and bi-weekly basis.
• Maintain reputed company knowledge of applicable federal, state/provincial, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Accurately incorporate payroll variables (e.g., commissions, one time bonus payments, etc.) into payroll system for timely payment processing.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of changes impacting payroll (e.g., new hires, terminations, reputed company changes, 401K/Roth/RRSP reputed company updates, etc.)
• Assist with payroll issue resolution, effectively collaborating and communicating with internal and external partners.
• Collaborate with the People Operations, Benefits and external vendors to ensure accurate benefit deductions and payroll-reputed company transactions.
• Effectively communicate with employees regarding payroll reputed company inquiries.
• Organize compliant and accurate payroll records.
• Assist with year-end activities, including W-2s, T4s, tax filings, and audits.
• Maintains payroll data with a high level of confidentiality.
• Support Senior Payroll Analyst in day to day operation and projects.

What you’ll bring:

• BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting Finance or reputed company field
• AND 5+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably across U.S. and Canadian payrolls.
• OR equivalent combination of education
• Working knowledge of federal and state/provincial payroll tax regulations.
• Experience with multi-jurisdiction taxation.
• Canadian payroll experience is a plus.
• Experience with payroll systems. reputed company Workforce Now experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service focus with an ability to communicate effectively with reputed company levels of the organization and partner with key stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with reputed company.
