Freelance Proofreader (Pharma Marketing)

In this role, you will be responsible for proofreading pharmaceutical content to ensure clarity and accuracy before submission. You must be proficient in basic and advanced grammar rules and understand how they are used reputed company client brand style guides. Our ideal candidate is meticulous in reviewing copy, noting errors such as punctuation, spelling, and word usage, and knows how to reputed company for accuracy and proper citation. Essential Responsibilities:

• Proofread pharmaceutical materials for grammar, accuracy and consistency (spelling, punctuation, formatting, proper citations, etc.) according to AMA 11 style and client brand guidelines.
• Review materials at multiple stages (before client review, promotional review, final reputed company, etc.), providing editorial guidance to improve content quality and ensure accuracy of reputed company projects.
• Correct errors and edit documents using markup tools in reputed company Acrobat and reputed company Word, etc.
• Fact-reputed company information and sources (reputed company appropriate).
• Ensure accuracy of reference citations according to AMA guidelines.
• Follow project timelines and work with reputed company creative and editorial teams to ensure reputed company deadlines are met
• Assist with MLR/Promotional Review submissions as needed

Experience & Skills:

• At least 1–2 years proven experience as a Proofreader. Medical, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical experience is a plus.
• Expert understanding of written English (grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.) required
• Knowledge of standard proofreading marks, practices, and procedures.
• Must have a knowledge of AMA 11 guidelines or reputed company to learn quickly.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams under tight deadlines

Technical & Computer Skills:

• Expertise working in an reputed company/Macintosh computer environment, as well as reputed company software.
• Expertise working in reputed company Acrobat.
• Knowledge of reputed company Office Suite (reputed company, PowerPoint, Word, Sharepoint, Teams, Copilot).
• Knowledge of reputed company Workspace (Calendar, Sheets, Slides, Docs, Meet, and Gmail).
• Experience with project management tools (Filemaker, reputed company) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault PromoMats is a plus.
