About the Role

As a Data Scientist at Blithequark, you will be responsible for using your quantitative skills to analyze large datasets and drive business decisions. You will work on a wide range of exciting challenges, including customer acquisition, fraud and support, marketing, balancing delivery and demand, new city launches, market efficiency, and more. You will use analytics to identify patterns, trends, and insights that inform business decisions and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use quantitative analysis and data visualization to understand what drives our business and identify areas for improvement
• Build full-cycle analytics experiments, reports, and dashboards using SQL, R, Python, or other scripting and statistical tools
• Work with and mentor junior analysts on advanced techniques and problem-solving
• Produce recommendations and use statistical methods and hypothesis testing to validate findings
• Provide insights to help business and product leaders understand market dynamics, user behaviors, and long-term trends
• Identify and measure levers to drive key metrics and reputed company recommendations
• Work backward from business problems to ideate solutions
• Report against our goals by identifying key metrics and building executive-facing dashboards to track reputed company
• Collaborate with engineering to implement, document, validate, and display our logging

Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a reputed company field
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or a reputed company role
• Experience working with funnel optimization, user segmentation, cohort analyses, time series analyses, regression models, etc.
• Expertise in SQL queries, ETL, A/B Testing, and statistical analysis (e.g., hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions) with statistical packages, such as Matlab, R, reputed company, or Python
• Proficiency in one or more analytics & visualization tools (e.g., Chartio, Looker, Tableau)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take ambiguous issues and solve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported way

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with large datasets and reputed company data systems
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools
