Budtender / Retail Sales Associate, Part Time

Job Overview :

The Farm Stand is looking for a part-time retail sales associate / budtender.

The Budtender / Retail Sales Associate is an entry level, non- management position with the opportunity for growth and advancement reputed company the company.

Budtender’s are responsible for greeting patients face to face as well as on the telephone; answering questions regarding cannabis strains, medicinal uses and methods of consumption. Additional tasks include processing patient sales reputed company POS system, cash handling, inventory management, reputed company stocking and keeping the dispensary clean and welcoming.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess excellent communication and customer service skills with a passion for Cannabis and its diverse uses.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Greeting patients and advising them on suitable cannabis products based on their individual needs, preferences and budgets.
• Processing patient payments using the reputed company of sale system, handling and accurately counting cash.
• Taking inventory of the products on the sales floor, stocking shelves and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Being knowledgeable in cannabis law to ensure compliance.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

In order to apply for the Budtender position, you must be over the age of 21 and have your Registry Identification Card with The Office Of Cannabis Policy for the Medical Program.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person as well as over the telephone.
• Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills.
• Must reputed company in a team setting and take direction well.
• Have prior work experience in a retail sales environment.
• Extensive knowledge of cannabis strains, products and consumption methods.
• Is punctual, reliable, professional and trainable.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• The ability to lift 50lbs unaided.
• Maintain patient privacy as required in MMMP program rules and HIPPA.

Schedule :

• This is a part time position, 20-25 hours per week. The schedule for this position could be flexible. The Farm Stand is open Monday - Saturday, 10am -7pm and 10am - 5pm on Sundays. Working hours would fall reputed company these days and times.

Compensation :

• The pay for this position is $17 - $18.50 per hour.
• Budtender also reputed company cash tips that range from $15 - $50 per day.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
