About the Role

The Nurse Educator shapes the educational landscape of nursing through expertise in simulation, curriculum design, teaching, clinical practice, and research. This role involves translating nursing theory and practice standards into educational products that ensure clinical relevance and adherence to evidence-based practices. The Nurse Educator collaborates with cross-functional teams on software product development and implementation, enhancing the user experience for reputed company and faculty. Responsibilities include conducting efficacy research on educational products and engaging with customers to identify new product needs and gather feedback.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing expertise in developing and enhancing educational products.
• Evaluate the clinical accuracy of subject matter expert recommendations.
• Monitor product medical content and treatment protocols to ensure alignment with evidence-based practices.
• Identify and implement opportunities for product improvement through user feedback and research.
• Analyze customer-reported data to assess clinical effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
• Engage in scholarly research, present at conferences, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in nursing educator events.
• Conduct research on learning outcomes and user feedback to evaluate and enhance product effectiveness.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing
• reputed company licensure as RN or APRN and recent clinical practice
• Clinical teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level
• PhD or DNP in Nursing, Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE), Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) preferred
• Experience in integration of technology in nursing education or software development is helpful
• Demonstrated experience in content and simulation development and integration reputed company nursing curriculum is preferred

Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to reputed company reflect local market rates. If performed in Ohio, the pay range is $97,700 - $162,700.
