Your Role as a Customer Service Associate - Tool Rental
As a Customer Service Associate - Tool Rental, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our Tool Rental department. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers, answering questions, and providing solutions to their home improvement challenges. Your goal will be to ensure that every customer has a positive experience in our store and that they leave feeling confident and satisfied with their purchase.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers to reputed company and deliver friendly and professional customer service
- Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise in the Tool Rental department
- Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies
- Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure that customers receive merchandise as expected and on time
- Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service
- Prepare merchandise in the Tool Rental department based on customer needs
- Guide customers through shopping or checkout and provide solutions to their home improvement challenges
- Complete other duties as assigned to support the success of the team
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
- Ability to read, write, and reputed company basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Ability to reputed company duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to reputed company job duties
- Ability to minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience
- Bi-lingual skills
- Certification in a trade reputed company to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
