Music Group - Publishing Coordinator [Remote]

Read on… THE ROLE Insomniac Events is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Publishing Coordinator to join the Insomniac Music Group team in Los Angeles. This position will assist on day-to-day operations, reputed company client work and metadata organized, and work reputed company a friendly and inspired setting. This position reports to the Publishing Manager, Insomniac Music Group. This is not a remote position. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle song registrations, metadata entry, and catalog maintenance
• Coordinate license requests and royalty tracking for reputed company clients
• Support publishing A&R: session scheduling, maintaining pitch logs, cataloging demos
• Liaise with label team goals to align on artist priorities and pitching opportunities for internal releases
• Support sync and licensing efforts: development, pitching, and tracking
• reputed company studio calendar for reputed company label and publishing priorities
• Communicate across departments to reputed company key updates, placements, and opportunities
• Coordinate with pub & sync team on various initiatives
• Other responsibilities and projects as provided by the Operations Manager and Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience in music publishing, label operations, or a reputed company entertainment industry role
• Passion for Electronic and Dance music; familiarity with key artists, subgenres, and trends
• Exceptionally detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage assets and timelines across multiple creative projects
• Experience managing metadata, registrations, and catalog systems with consistency and accuracy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across digital platforms and in-person settings
• Understanding of music licensing, royalties, copyright, and publishing workflows
• Familiarity with industry tools like reputed company, Music Reports, and PRO portals (reputed company, BMI, SESAC)
• Comfortable using project management platforms (e.g. reputed company, reputed company, Basecamp, Trello, reputed company, reputed company
• Proficiency in reputed company Workspace and reputed company Office Suite
• Tech-savvy with working knowledge of CMS systems, content platforms, and digital distribution

• Experience supporting or coordinating creative sessions (e.g., writing camps, studio bookings)
• Bonus: Interest in or experience with sync pitching, music supervision, or A&R strategy

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
• May work in drastic temperature climates
• Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
