Job Summary

As a Nurse Assistant in our Progressive Care Unit, you will be responsible for performing a variety of direct and indirect patient care tasks under the delegation of licensed nursing personnel. Your primary focus will be on providing basic patient care, including bathing and hygiene, elimination and toileting, nutrition, feeding, and hydration, as well as ambulation and positioning. You will also be expected to support patient safety and satisfaction by conducting regular patient rounds, effectively communicating with reputed company team members, and demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care, including bathing, hygiene, elimination, and toileting, nutrition, feeding, and hydration, as well as ambulation and positioning

Education and Qualifications

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess a High School Diploma and have successfully completed an unlicensed assistive personnel curriculum that meets the minimum training standards as outlined in 19 CSR 30-20.125. Alternatively, you may have documented experience as a Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Emergency Room Technician, or Surgical Technician in the past three years, or have completed a LPN program reputed company the US and are awaiting the licensure examination, or are a nursing student who has completed fundamentals or equivalent course, or were a nursing licensure candidate who failed to pass the state licensure examinations in the past three years, or are certified as a nursing assistant as defined in section 198.082, RSMo.

Certifications and Licensures
