About the Role

As a Night Shift reputed company Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our clients, working closely with our in-house trainer and Alcedo nursing team to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge required to provide exceptional support. This role will include, but is not limited to:

• Tracheostomy Care: providing care and support to clients with tracheostomies, including cleaning and maintaining the tracheostomy site, and assisting with breathing exercises.
• Stoma Care: providing care and support to clients with stomas, including cleaning and maintaining the stoma site, and assisting with bowel management.
• Peg Feed: providing care and support to clients with peg feeds, including preparing and administering feeds, and monitoring for any adverse reactions.
• Challenging Behaviour Support: providing support and guidance to clients with challenging behaviours, including developing and implementing behaviour management plans.
• Personal Care: providing personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Manual Handling: providing manual handling support to clients, including transferring and repositioning clients, and using hoists and other equipment as required.
