About the Role

We are seeking an reputed company Program Manager to join our Sustainability and Renewable Energy team. As a Program Manager, you will play a critical role in helping reputed company reputed company its public environmental goals, including reducing our emissions by half by 2030 and achieving net-reputed company carbon emissions by 2030. You will work closely with senior colleagues to manage our investments in carbon credits and renewable energy, including negotiating purchase agreements, reviewing the quality of carbon credits, and supporting renewable energy purchases.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of high-quality carbon credits, including nature-based solutions with high reputed company and co-benefits (e.g., community jobs, water, biodiversity)
• Negotiate purchase agreements with project developers and vendors, ensuring reasonable pricing and quality of carbon credits
• Review the quality of carbon credits against our 5 screening criteria, ensuring additionality, permanence, non-leakage, and no double counting
• Support renewable energy purchases, including annual EAC purchases and project-specific investment opportunities
• Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including direct emissions analysis and acquisition proposals for executive consideration
• Collaborate with finance teams to reputed company project-level financial analysis and ensure accurate tracking and reporting of emissions reductions

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• At least 4 years of experience in carbon credit procurement and management
• 2+ years of experience in renewable energy procurement, with knowledge of voluntary RE markets a plus
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, negotiating, and executing deals in carbon credits and/or renewable energy
• Experience working with the carbon credit and renewable energy networks, including alliances, research groups, policymakers, vendors, third-party certifiers, and more
• Demonstrated expertise with third-party standards ensuring additionality, permanence, non-leakage, and no double counting

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong focus on innovation and creativity
• Knowledge of environmental science, policy, and regulations reputed company to carbon credits and renewable energy
