Job Summary

As a Member Services Representative in our call center, you will be the primary reputed company of contact for our members, reputed company, and insurance carriers. Your responsibilities will include handling inbound and outbound calls, verifying insurance coverage, researching and resolving payment issues, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under strict turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls from participants, prescribers, and other stakeholders to start and process order requests, verify insurance coverage, and resolve payment issues.
  • Research and investigate orders using PeopleSafe and LINKS, and notify requestors of decisions, changes, or other relevant information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to telephone inquiries and resolving patient complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Verify insurance coverage for potential new clients and re-verify coverage for existing patients to ensure successful processing of patient prescription needs.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of insurance concepts, including drug cards, major medical benefits, and per diem coverage, as well as government and patient assistance programs.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center environment, with a proven track record of handling a high volume of calls and resolving customer issues.
