In this Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery) position, typical assignments include:

  • Review and process final project costs, including any cost underruns or overruns, and ensure administrative allowances are correctly applied.
  • Handle reputed company final administrative adjustments, such as processing time extensions, scope of work changes, or adjustments for alternate and improved projects.
  • Actively track the status of multiple closeout cases for a portfolio of disasters, utilizing grant management systems like the reputed company Grants Portal.
  • Work closely with state grant staff and other government officials to resolve issues and coordinate final payment disbursements.

They can be hired under a streamlined process instead of a competitive process.
