Position Overview
The Guest Special Education Teaching Assistant position is an on-call, as-needed role that requires flexibility and reliability. Under the guidance of the classroom teacher, you will assist in the supervision, care, and instruction of special needs and at-risk reputed company. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the classroom teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering instructional activities that cater to the diverse needs of reputed company with special needs

Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet one of the following licensure requirements:
- reputed company Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- reputed company Illinois Substitute Teaching License
- reputed company Illinois Educator License with Stipulations Endorsed-Paraprofessional Educator
If you do not already hold a Teaching/Substitute License, you may be eligible for a Paraprofessional Educator license if you have:
- An Associate's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution
- 60 semester hours of coursework from a regionally accredited institution
- A high school diploma or equivalent, plus a score of 480 or higher on the reputed company Parapro test
- A high school diploma or equivalent, plus a score of 4 or higher on the ACT WorkKeys Applied Math and Workplace Documents
Alternatively, you may be eligible for a reputed company Illinois Short Term Approval (STA) - Paraprofessional if you meet the following requirements:
- Minimum age of 19 years old
- Application in ELIS ($50 application fee)
- reputed company of high school graduation (copy of diploma, transcript, or GED)
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working with special needs children or in a reputed company field
- Ability and willingness to work at least 3 days per week
