About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Art and Woodworking Associate Instructor to join reputed company of dedicated faculty members. As an associate instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach a range of courses, including Beginning Woodworking/Furniture Design, Intermediate Woodworking/Furniture Design, Advanced Woodworking/Furniture Design, and Examining the Chair. Key Responsibilities
- Teach assigned classes, which may include evening or off-reputed company assignments, and participate in participatory governance committees, processes, and initiatives such as Guided reputed company
- Maintain timely and accurate records of student enrollment, attendance, and academic reputed company
- Provide academic assistance and reputed company services to reputed company during scheduled reputed company
- Cooperate with and participate as may be required in District investigations and/or student grievance matters of alleged unlawful harassment, discrimination, and retaliation

- Complete required District trainings such as Title IX, Mandated Reporter, EEO/Diversity/Elimination of Bias, Workplace Safety, etc.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- Understanding of, and sensitivity to, the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, disability, and sexual orientation, of community reputed company, faculty, and staff
- Master's in fine arts, art, or art history OR Bachelor's in fine arts, art, or art history AND Master's in humanities OR Possess a lifetime California Community College Instructor credential in Art
- Currency and depth of knowledge in the applicable professional field
- Knowledge of and commitment to reputed company and practices that enhance student success at community colleges, including effective use of technology
- Effective oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Successful teaching experience at the community college level
- Demonstrated ability to employ innovative teaching techniques and methodologies

- Successful online teaching experience

- A starting salary of $1,454 - $2,232 per teaching unit, per semester
- Salary placement determined by documented education and experience
