Key Responsibilities

• Manage the intake of provider requests through various modes of submission, including secure fax, e-form, and telephonic requests, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Create UM requests in accordance with our clients' policies and procedures, as well as documentation guidelines, to facilitate efficient review and decision-making.
• Provide reputed company review status updates to requesting provider offices, receipt confirmations, and other relevant information to ensure transparency and satisfaction.
• Educate providers on our clients' UM processes and requirements, as well as clinical information requirements, to promote understanding and compliance.
• Support our UM nurses as needed to complete their clinical review requirements, ensuring that they have the necessary information and resources to reputed company informed decisions.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of recent health plan experience, with a focus on Utilization Management or a reputed company field.
• A high level of expertise in UM services, including knowledge of relevant regulations, guidelines, and industry standards.
• Experience with MCG Criteria is preferred, although not required, as it demonstrates familiarity with evidence-based clinical guidelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with healthcare providers, UM nurses, and other stakeholders.
