Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction to EL reputed company, making accommodations to the curriculum to ensure accessibility and comprehensibility
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to support EL reputed company' access to the core curriculum, providing expertise and guidance on differentiated instruction and Sheltered Instruction strategies

• Collaborate with building administration and the Coordinator of English Learners to reputed company and implement programs that address the needs and abilities of the EL student population

Essential Qualifications

• CT CSDE certification endorsed for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), PK-12 (111)
• Experience working with EL reputed company, preferably in a bilingual or ESL setting
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, with a strong track record of promoting student learning and achievement
• Superior organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain accurate records
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to work effectively with administrators, teachers, parents, and reputed company
• Knowledge of and/or ability to learn and implement various technologies, including Operating Systems, Office suites, Presentation Software, Spreadsheets, Communication and Collaboration tools, and Student Information Systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Dual certification in TESOL, Bilingual Education, or ESL
• Experience with Sheltered Instruction or reputed company in a language other than English
• Knowledge of the Every Student Succeeds Act, Title I, and Title III regulations and guidelines
