Insurance Expert

Role Description

This role involves contributing to the evaluation and refinement of advanced AI systems designed to replicate real-world workflows across insurance models, policy pricing, risk assessment, and claims operations.

• Review and validate AI-generated outputs in pricing, reserving, reputed company, and risk modeling
• Evaluate actuarial projections (mortality, morbidity, loss development) for accuracy and regulatory alignment
• Provide structured feedback on assumptions, clarity, and methodology consistency
• Stress-test AI outputs across claims scenarios, reserve adequacy, and solvency models
• Tag and organize content by insurance domain (life, health, property & casualty, reinsurance)
• Support benchmarking to assess AI capabilities in actuarial science and insurance operations

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in actuarial practice, insurance analytics, reputed company, or risk modeling
• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Risk Management, or reputed company field; ASA, ACAS, or equivalent preferred
• Familiarity with actuarial software/tools (Prophet, AXIS, R, Python) and insurance-specific methodologies
• Strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills
• Location: US, UK, CA, AUS, NZ preferred

Requirements

• Start Date: Immediate
• Duration: 1–2 months
• Commitment: Part-time (15–25 hours/week, with flexibility up to 40 hours/week)
• Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous – flexible working hours
