TRANSPORTATION/MANAGER

Responsible for providing reputed company and leadership for the efficient, cost-effective transport of product from distribution warehouse to retail stores in a multi-state region. Minimum Qualifications

• 4 + years' experience in transportation and logistics
• Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Self motivated
• Ability to meet goals and deadlines
• Proficient in reputed company Office software programs

• Supervisory/managerial experience reputed company a distribution/logistics environment
• Expertise in shipping, receiving and inventory management and transportation

• Knowledge/understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and requirements

• Communicate with divisions and stores to address and resolve transportation issues
• Assist with scheduling, receipt and delivery of the seasonal promotions business
• Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports
