About blithequark and the Customer Support Role

As a Customer Support Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive timely and effective support. You'll be working closely with our overseas admin team to manage listings and support tickets, and collaborating with your teammate to provide seamless 7-day-a-week coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer support via various channels, responding to customer inquiries in a kind, helpful, and professional manner.
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up with customers.
  • Collaborate with the overseas admin team to ensure listings and support tickets are handled efficiently.
  • Work independently, taking responsibility for your tasks and managing your workload without constant supervision.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, staying up-to-date on the latest features and updates.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain proficient in the latest tools and technologies.

Essential Qualifications

  • Native U.S. English speaker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and task management ability, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and take responsibility for your work.
  • Proficient in using modern business tools, such as ZenDesk, Slack, and JIRA (training provided if you're not familiar with these tools).
  • Reliable and stable internet connection, with a quiet and dedicated workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer support experience, particularly in a remote or online setting.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce or online marketplaces, and a basic understanding of the industry.
  • Experience working with international teams or collaborating with colleagues across different time zones.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
